Teams played a long game last evening. Deciding goal came in 105th minute. Home team was three goals down, but Niko Kapanen and Hannes Hyvönen score two goals each to gave a lead for Kazan in this best of five quarterfinal serie.

Away team played yesterday withouth best defenseman Kevin Dallman, who got game miscounduct in last regular season game. The same happened to one of Astana yesterday's goal scorers Krasnoslobodtsev, who is off tonight, because of disciplinary.

Astana is typically using 1st line Stumpel, M. Spiridonov and Glazachev (they all will be very tired after huge ice-time yesterday). Defenseman Kloucek had over 50 minutes ice-time and Podhradsky over 43 minutes, while nobody from home defensemans had over 40 minutes.

Today it will be very important who will score a first goal, players should be tired and better chance for goalies to keep lower number of total goals. Only one fresh skater will be Dallman for Astana, maybe coaches will add some new players to the rosters.
