This is again day-by-day game by one team. And again it is against Detroit like last time i wrote a preview here Detroit vs. Los Angeles.

I would go for Detroit win again, but this time the odd is not that valuable. When I am checking head-to-head games Detroit had won one game last season, but lost three, two after OT. Detroit had lost 3-4OT this season just one week ago at home. Colorado is in good mood and already earned 16 points, while Detroit only 8 points.

After last night there should be tiredness by Colorado players and the most important will be goalie position. Yesterday there was suppossed to be backup Slovakian goalie Peter Budaj. Because of flu, Craig Anderson was again on ice, but after last night game there should be tonight Tyler WEIMAN with only 16 minutes played in NHL for Colorado in season 07/08.

Pavel Datsyuk is not 100% fit, but at Phoenix he added beautiful 2 assists and his comeback was great. This could be the most important impact today to help Detroit to win this game. I do not expect that Colorado players will skate the same way as last night.

There is also neccessary to say again that teams playing day-by-day are scoring very low numbers of goals in the second night and mostly results are under goals !

After this game Colorado will have couple days off and then they will go for second road trip this season to play four games. Detroit is continuing its five games road trip tonight.
